Inferno Week 10

Again, I have like no time this week, sorry everyone, but life has been busy!! 

This week we had some really cool experiences. But my favorite was just yesterday, we had the chance to fast, which means that we pray for specific blessings for others or ourselves, and then we sacrifice two meals, or 24 hours, without eating or drinking. You read about it in the bible and the Book of Mormon a lot. Usually, fasting is really hard for me to do, since I am a huge lover of food, but this time around I loved it. I had some really big reasons to fast, and as I focused on the purpose of fasting, to be able to help others, it was so cool to feel that my hunger and selfish thoughts were gone for the whole day. It was super cool. Fasting is amazing, it is healthy for you, and it blesses the lives of so many. I have already seen improvement in the things that I fasted for. The gospel of Jesus Christ is true!! 

Probably, one of the coolest things that I have been learning about lately is the importance of showing love to others. I am not super uptight, I think I am a pretty chill person, but we all have pet peeves that drive us insane. Some of those pet peeves were pointed out this week, and I was trying my hardest to not be frustrated. The main thing that I noticed is that no matter what, the most important thing to do when we are frustrated is to serve others. That is what Jesus did, so you try to do it too!! I love being able to serve people every day! it is the best feeling in the world!!

It's hot. Hello everyone!! As you may or may not know, this week is the final full week of my missionary service! That is a really crazy things to say but I am so grateful for the things that I have learned and the people I have built strong connections with. I wanted to share with you three lessons that I have learned during my missionary service. 'tis the Season

When your family sends a Christmas tree & cookies... Hey everyone!  This is going to be a short one, but there is one main experience that I want to share with each of you.  As you know, we are working with Adrian, who has been making tons of progress recently. You will be pleased to hear that he is still doing fantastic. We had originally planned on having his baptism on January 13th, but he is so pumped about all of this that he wants to do it on the 30th of this month! Talk about awesome! He has been super excited and happy about making this choice to follow Jesus Christ! He has such high faith and is so excited to continue to make changes to follow Christ.  Best donut shop ever. Probably the coolest part of everything has been that this will be his first Christmas believing in Jesus Christ. He told us yesterday that he had no idea how to even celebrate it! Michael Jordan

Hey everybody! This week I achieve Michael Jordan status...(23 months). I can't  say that I am thrilled about that. But it's alright, 5 weeks is a long time to change the world! ;) We had an awesome week. Here are some highlights: We had transfers this week, and not much changed! The zone overall stayed pretty similar, which is cool. Every transfer weekend the stake presidency has us over for ice cream, and last night they had us share our favorite scripture! Mine was Alma 36:24 in the Book of Mormon: "Yea, and from that time even until now, I have labored without ceasing,  that I might bring souls unto repentance; that I  might bring them to  taste of the exceeding joy of which I did taste; that they  might also be born of God, and be filled with the Holy Ghost." And the coolest thing about this experience was as soon as we started sharing the scriptures, a very powerful feeling entered the room. I know the scriptures are the word of God...
