Inferno Week 10

Again, I have like no time this week, sorry everyone, but life has been busy!! 

This week we had some really cool experiences. But my favorite was just yesterday, we had the chance to fast, which means that we pray for specific blessings for others or ourselves, and then we sacrifice two meals, or 24 hours, without eating or drinking. You read about it in the bible and the Book of Mormon a lot. Usually, fasting is really hard for me to do, since I am a huge lover of food, but this time around I loved it. I had some really big reasons to fast, and as I focused on the purpose of fasting, to be able to help others, it was so cool to feel that my hunger and selfish thoughts were gone for the whole day. It was super cool. Fasting is amazing, it is healthy for you, and it blesses the lives of so many. I have already seen improvement in the things that I fasted for. The gospel of Jesus Christ is true!! 

Probably, one of the coolest things that I have been learning about lately is the importance of showing love to others. I am not super uptight, I think I am a pretty chill person, but we all have pet peeves that drive us insane. Some of those pet peeves were pointed out this week, and I was trying my hardest to not be frustrated. The main thing that I noticed is that no matter what, the most important thing to do when we are frustrated is to serve others. That is what Jesus did, so you try to do it too!! I love being able to serve people every day! it is the best feeling in the world!!

What a week. Crazy stuff was happening all week, I don't even know where to start. But I have to start somewhere.  So, since the last time I have emailed, I have had 4 different companions, covered 2 areas, and had 3 conversations with people  in French. How does that make sense?/ Buckle up .  Elder Francis, my companion for the last few months, got a call  on Tuesday night  to become the new assistant to our mission president, so he packed up that night and left  Wednesday morning . I was absorbed into a Spanish companionship for a day and a half, and you know how fluent I am in Spanish, so that was an adventure. Then on Thursday we drove to our mission home in Tempe to pick up my new companion, Elder Saulle, who is actually from France!!! He has a pretty awesome accent, and is headed home in a few weeks so they brought him closer to the mission home to make things easier. Closing Time

It's hot. Hello everyone!! As you may or may not know, this week is the final full week of my missionary service! That is a really crazy things to say but I am so grateful for the things that I have learned and the people I have built strong connections with. I wanted to share with you three lessons that I have learned during my missionary service. There are many, but you’ll have to ask me for details later ;)  First off, I have a deep conviction of how much God truly loves all of us. I know that we are His sons and His daughters. There is nothing more valuable to me than that important fact. I get to interact with lots of different people as a missionary, and the coolest thing I have experienced is that for some reason, whether I know these people well or not, I develop such a strong love for them and a desire to help them. the MOD life=the good life Hey everybody!! Just so you know, I love MOD pizza, and we got to go today so it has been on my mind haha! :)  Life is good here in AZ!! We are creeping up on June, which is really weird, but it's all good. :)  This week was pretty awesome!! We had lots of cool experiences, and Jason is doing great! He is the one who got baptized last week, and he received the priesthood this week, which was a really cool experience! Elder Jacobson got to give that to him, which is super cool and the first time he has been able to do that!  We did some service this week, which was fun. We went to Feed My Starving Children and I scooped rice for 2 hours so I was feeling pretty ripped afterwards. We also got to help with a move on Saturday, and me and one other guy lifted a piano by ourselves, that was intense. But yeah, life is good. Service is always awesome!
